On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility announced that attorney Ashley Satterfield Patterson, who holds the bar number 030614, has received a Public Censure.

The disciplinary action was taken following an incident where Patterson testified in court on April 22, 2022, regarding a personal matter related to a parenting plan. During her testimony, she was found to have lied under oath.
