On Friday, January 19, 2024, the Supreme Court of Louisiana issued an order transferring attorney Cassie Erin Felder to disability inactive status.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Cassie Erin Felder,” with case no. 2024-OB-0009.

According to the order, Felder had filed a Petition for Transfer to Disability Inactive Status, which was granted by the court. Felder will be listed as inactive. All further filings in the matter will remain confidential per Supreme Court Rule XIX, Section 16(D).

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel had also responded to Felder’s petition regarding the transfer. Under Supreme Court Rule XIX, Section 22(B), attorneys can be transferred to disability inactive status if unable to practice law. Felder’s transfer will take effect immediately, as stipulated in the court order.

According to avvo.com, Ms. Felder is a commercial attorney in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended the Tulane University Law School, graduating in 2000. She acquired her law license in Louisiana in 2002.
