On November 21, 2023, the Supreme Court of Maryland granted the petition for reinstatement filed by Attorney Dana Paul.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Dana Paul,” with case no. AG No. 11.

On September 25, 2023, the Supreme Court of Maryland suspended attorney Paul from practicing law in Maryland for 30 days. The disciplinary action was initiated based on proceedings in the District of Columbia, where Paul faced allegations of improperly disclosing client confidences and filing a retaliatory disciplinary complaint.

The Maryland Supreme Court, citing reciprocal discipline rules, accepted the Attorney Grievance Commission’s petition and ordered the same suspension. Paul’s immediate compliance with the Maryland order resulted in the removal of his name from the state’s roll of attorneys.”

Paul filed a petition for reinstatement which the court granted following the consent of the Bar Counsel. As a result, Dana Paul is reinstated as a member of the Bar of Maryland. The Clerk of the Court is directed to update the register of attorneys, reflecting Dana Paul’s restored status.

The Disposition states:

“Upon consideration of Dana Paul’s petition for reinstatement and Bar of Maryland and Bar Counsel’s consent to the petition for reinstatement, it is this 21st day of November 2023, by the Supreme Court of Maryland”

According to Avvo, Mr. Paul is a litigation attorney in Greenbelt, Maryland. He acquired his law license in Maryland in 2002.
