On Thursday, October 12, 2023, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted Attorney Guillaume Raphael Dupont’s application for permission to resign from the New York bar for non-disciplinary reasons.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Guillaume Raphael Dupont,” with case no. PM-239-23.
Dupont’s non-disciplinary resignation was not opposed by the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department.
The court accepted Dupont’s resignation and struck his name from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law of the State of New York, effective immediately. Dupont was commanded to desist and refrain from the practice of law in any form in the State of New York and was forbidden to appear as an attorney or counselor-at-law before any court, judge, justice, board, commission, or other public authority.
Furthermore, Dupont was ordered to surrender to the Office of Court Administration any Attorney Secure Pass issued to him within 30 days of the date of the decision.
The order states:
“ORDERED that Guillaume Raphael Dupont’s application for permission to resign is granted and his nondisciplinary resignation is accepted.”
Mr. Dupont acquired his law license in New York in 2014.
