On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, the Circuit Court for the County of Rockbridge suspended attorney Jared R. Jenkins from practicing law in the Commonwealth of Virginia for nine months.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Jared R. Jenkins,” with case no. 23-080-127198.

Jenkins, who runs his law firm called JenkinsEsq, PLLC located in Lexington, Virginia, had his privileges to practice revoked by order of the Circuit Court for Rockbridge County. According to the Virginia State Bar’s disciplinary record, Jenkins violated rules related to fairness towards opposing counsel and parties as well as judicial officials.

The suspension became effective immediately according to the statement released by the VSB summarizing recent disciplinary actions taken against lawyers. Jenkins will not be able to practice law in Virginia until the nine-month suspension period concludes.

According to avvo.com, Mr. Jenkins is an attorney in Lexington, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia School of Law, graduating in 2007.
