On Friday, November 17, 2023, the Supreme Court of Ohio accepted the resignation of attorney Joseph Frederick Reinier with disciplinary action pending.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Joseph Frederick Reinier,” with case no. 2023-1384.

In an order, the Supreme Court of Ohio approved Reinier’s application for retirement or resignation with disciplinary action pending under Rule VI of the Rules for the Government of the Bar. As part of his resignation, Reinier is required to close out all current client matters, return any unearned fees or client files, and stop holding himself out as an attorney authorized for legal practice. The court also ordered Reinier to make any reimbursements owed to the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection.

Reinier’s resignation will be noted on his formal record with the Ohio Supreme Court. His name will also be struck from the official roll of attorneys maintained by the state.

The Disposition states:

“On consideration thereof, it is ordered by the court that pursuant to Gov.Bar R. VI(11)(C), the resignation as an attorney and counselor at law is accepted as a resignation with disciplinary action pending.”

According to avvo.com, Mr. Reiner is an attorney in Grove City, Ohio. He attended the Capital University Law School. He acquired his law license in Ohio in 2006.
