On Thursday, November 21, 2024, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted Kenneth B. Weckstein’s request to resign from the New York bar for nondisciplinary reasons. Weckstein submitted his resignation application, which the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department did not oppose.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Kenneth B. Weckstein,” with case no. PM-229-24.
In his affidavit, filed on September 16, 2024, Weckstein indicated his intent to step down from the practice of law. “ORDERED that Kenneth B. Weckstein’s application for permission to resign is granted and his nondisciplinary resignation is accepted.”
