On Thursday, October 26, 2023, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department, accepted the non-disciplinary resignation of Attorney Louis Nikolaus Larsen, effective immediately.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Louis Nikolaus Larsen,” with case no. PM-246-23.

Larsen, who was admitted to practice in 2013, had requested permission to resign from the New York bar for non-disciplinary reasons. The Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department did not oppose Larsen’s application.

Larsen was also ordered to surrender his Attorney Secure Pass to the Office of Court Administration within 30 days of the date of the decision.

The Disposition states:

“ORDERED that Louis Nikolaus Larsen’s application for permission to resign is granted and his nondisciplinary resignation is accepted.”

According to avvo.com, Mr. Larsen is an adoption attorney in Stuart, Florida. He attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 1991. He acquired his law license in New York in 2013.
