On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department granted Maneesh Gulati’s motion for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of New York. The court’s decision followed Gulati’s compliance with Judiciary Law Section 468-a, allowing his immediate return to legal practice.

On March 20, 2025, the Appellate Division issued an order suspending Gulati, effective immediately, due to his failure to comply with the requirements of Judiciary Law Section 468-a. The suspension was to remain in place until further court action.

The Disposition states:
“It is ordered that the motion is granted, and petitioner is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of New York, effective the date hereof.”
