On Thursday, July 31, 2025, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted a motion for reinstatement of attorney Minkyung Ha. Ha was previously suspended in September 2024for violating Judiciary Law § 468-a.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Minkyung Ha,” with case no. PM-168-25.

The court’s ruling followed a review of Ha’s notice of motion and supporting affidavit, which included various exhibits sworn on May 19, 2025. The Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department responded on June 23, 2025, which contributed to the court’s assessment.

In its findings, the court determined that Ha had satisfactorily complied with the conditions of her suspension and adhered to the court’s regulations. Additionally, the justices concluded that she possesses the necessary character and fitness to resume her legal practice. The court noted that reinstating Ha would serve the public interest. Upon reaching their decision, the court officially reinstated her as an attorney and counselor-at-law, effective immediately.

The Disposition states:

“It is ORDERED that respondent’s motion for reinstatement is granted; and it is further ORDERED that respondent is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law, effective immediately.”

According to Martindale.com, Ms. Ha acquired her law license in New York in 2012.
