On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department reinstated Attorney Richard Roe Fogarty.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Richard Roe Fogarty,” with case no. 2024-04688.
Fogarty had been suspended from practicing law on April 2, 2009, for failing to comply with Judiciary Law Section 468-a. However, Fogarty later adhered to the requirements on or before February 18, 2024.
As a result, Fogarty filed a motion for reinstatement. The New York Court reviewed the motion and determined that since Fogarty was now compliant with Judiciary Law 468-a, the court granted his reinstatement as an attorney.
According to martindale.com, Mr Fogarty acquired his law license in New York in 1999.
