On Thursday, August 10, 2023, the State of New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted the application and accepted the resignation of Attorney Robert Craig Fisher from the State Bar for non-disciplinary reasons.
The case is titled ‘In the Matter of Robert Craig Fishe’ with case no. PM-171-23.
Attorney Fisher who maintains a business address in Glenwood Springs, Colorado with the Office of Court Administration was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court of New York in 1987. Mr. Fisher sought leave to resign from the Bar which the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department did not oppose, the former being eligible to resign for non-disciplinary reasons.
The order states:
” ORDERED that Robert Craig Fisher’s application for permission to resign is granted and his non-disciplinary resignation is accepted, and it is further
ORDERED that Robert Craig Fisher’s name is hereby stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law of the State of New York, effective immediately, and until further order of this Court (see generally Rules for AttyDisciplinary Matters [22NYCRR] § 1240.22 [b]), and it is further”
With the name of Robert Craig Fisher stricken out from the roll of attorneys, Attorney Fisher is no longer allowed to practice law in the State of New York in any capacity.
The order further states:
“ORDERED that Robert Craig Fisher is commanded to desist and refrain from the practice of law in any form in the State of New York, either as principal or as agent, clerk or employee of another; and Fisher is hereby forbidden to appear as an attorney or counselor-at-law before any court, judge, justice, board, commission or other public authority, or to give to another an opinion as to the law or its application, or any advice in relation thereto, or to hold himself out in any way as an attorney and counselor-at-law in this State; and it is further
ORDERED that Robert Craig Fisher shall, within 30 days of the date of this decision, surrender to the Office of Court Administration any Attorney Secure Pass issued to him.”
