On Friday, January 30, 2026, Attorney Robin E. Myers filed a Verified Petition for Reinstatement to The Florida Bar, seeking to regain membership in good standing after a period of suspension.

The case is entitled “In the Mmmatter of Robin E. Myers,” with case nos. SC2023-0999 and SC2024-1052.

Myers’ suspension stemmed from an order by the Supreme Court dated August 15, 2025, which took effect on September 15, 2025. The suspension followed a stipulation of violating rules 3-4.3, 4-8.4(a), 4-8.4(g), 4-1.4, 4-3.2, and 4-8.4(d) of the Florida Bar.

In compliance with reinstatement requirements, Myers has provided proof of remittance of $500.00 to the bar as a deposit for costs and proof of payment of all disciplinary costs assessed against him, as detailed in Exhibit A. Myers has also authorized the District Director of the Internal Revenue Service to release his federal income tax returns since his admission to the bar.

During his suspension, Myers chose not to pursue employment within the legal community, believing it was important to separate himself from the profession. Instead, he worked for a landscaping company, earning $20.00 per hour. His earnings from August 2025 through December 31, 2025, totaled $19,140.00, averaging $3828.00 per month gross income.

Myers has resided at 19750 NW CR 67, Bristol, Florida 32321, throughout the suspension. His financial obligations include a Calhoun Liberty Credit Union loan of $9,673.79, a Calhoun Liberty Credit Union mortgage of $181,339.01, a U.S. Bank mortgage of $84,569, and a U.S. Department of Education student loan of $85,712.

Myers states he has never been arrested or prosecuted for any offense and has not applied for licenses requiring proof of good character. There have been no proceedings involving his standing as a member of any organization or as a license holder since the suspension, nor any proceedings or charges involving claims of fraud.

Myers has been volunteering with Innovative Charities of Northwest Florida, aiding in food distribution to families in need. He chose not to disclose his professional background while volunteering and focused on contributing where needed most.

Supporting documentation included in Exhibit A confirms that Myers has satisfied all requisite costs, submitted the required affidavit, and completed Ethics School on October 30, 2025, according to a letter from Melissa L. Howland, FRP, Florida Registered Paralegal at Lawyer Regulation Headquarters. A letter from Lisa Chason, Compliance Coordinator, confirms that the reinstatement deposit of $500.00 has been paid in full.

The petition states:

“Petitioner respectfully requests that he be reinstated as a member in good standing of The Florida Bar.”

According to Avvo.com, Mr. Myers is a criminal defense attorney. He attended the Florida State University College of Law, graduating in 2004. He acquired his law license in Florida in 2005.
