On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the Supreme Court of Indiana suspended Attorney Ronald A. Wright from practicing law in the state due to his failure to cooperate with a disciplinary investigation.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Ronald A. Wright,” with case no. 25S-DI-150.
The court’s decision followed an order issued on June 18, 2025, which required Wright to provide a written explanation for his noncompliance within ten days of the order. Despite this directive, Wright did not submit a response.
The disciplinary action was prompted by a grievance filed against him, identified as case number 25-1230. The Indiana Supreme Court received a subsequent request from the Disciplinary Commission on July 8, 2025, stating that Wright had still not engaged with the investigation. In light of his continued lack of cooperation, the court deemed immediate suspension necessary.
The suspension will remain in effect until the Executive Director of the Disciplinary Commission confirms that Wright has fully complied with the investigation requirements, or until the court issues further orders. This decision is in accordance with Admission and Discipline Rule 23(10.1)(c)(3). Additionally, Wright has been ordered to reimburse the Disciplinary Commission a total of $530.04 for the costs associated with the disciplinary proceedings.
Wright is required to adhere to the responsibilities of a suspended attorney as outlined in Admission and Discipline Rule 23(26).
According to Avvo.com, Mr. Wright is a probate attorney in Carmel, Indiana. He acquired his law license in Indiana in 1977.
