On Friday, March 24, 2023, the Supreme Court of Maryland disbarred attorney Gary Don Wright from the practice of law.  The case is entitled “Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland v. Gary Don Wright,” with case no. 21

The charges cited Maryland Rules of Professional Conduct 1.2, 1.7, 1.15, 8.1(a), 8.4(c). 

The Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland and the respondent filed a joint petition for disbarment by consent in relation to the abovementioned violation of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

Upon consideration thereof of the joint petition, the court ordered the clerk to strike the name of the respondent from the register of attorneys and certify that fact to the trustees of the client protection fund of the Bar of Maryland and all clerks of all judicial tribunals.
