On Monday, January 12, 2026, Attorney Martin Golab White and The Florida Bar filed a joint petition with the Supreme Court of Florida seeking to place White on inactive status. The petition stipulates that White should be placed on the inactive list under Rule 3-7.13 of the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Martin Golab White,” with case no. 2026-30,083(5A).

According to the petition, White understands that if the Court approves his placement on the inactive list, he must meet the requirements of Rule 3-7.10 of the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar to be reinstated to membership in good standing. Furthermore, any subsequent petition for reinstatement will be subject to review by the Supreme Court of Florida.

The petition also indicates that if White seeks reinstatement, he must provide written notice from a physician or licensed mental health provider stating that his condition has improved to the extent that he can function as an attorney without impairment. White understands that if his petition for reinstatement is approved, he may be placed on probation.

White has agreed to cease representing himself as a Florida Bar member or eligible to practice law in Florida, including removing all indications of his status as an attorney from social media, telephone listings, stationery, checks, business cards, office signs, and email addresses. White requests to be placed on the inactive list immediately and to remain so until reinstatement is granted.

According to Avvo.com, Mr. White is an administrative law attorney in Orlando, Florida. He attended Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law and graduated in 2004. He acquired his law license in Florida in the same year.
