On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Supreme Court of Georgia granted a motion to reinstate Attorney William Avriett Green’s law license, allowing him to resume practicing law in the state.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of William Avriett Green,” with case no. S25Y0911.

Green had been indefinitely suspended on June 11, 2024, due to six pending felony charges. In February 2025, he was acquitted of one charge, and the trial court dismissed the remaining charges following a general demurrer.

With no appeals filed and the legal proceedings concluded, Green sought to have his suspension lifted.

The Supreme Court, after reviewing the case record, approved his reinstatement.

According to Avvo.com, Mr. Green is an insurance attorney in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He acquired his law license in Georgia in 2014.
