On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, the Supreme Court of Ohio ordered the interim default suspension against Hamilton attorney Dennis Lee Adams for failure to file an answer to a formal complaint.

The case is styled Disciplinary Counsel v. Adams and was brought by the Board of Professional Conduct, under case no. 2022-1256.

The Order states that:

“On October 10, 2022, and pursuant to Gov. Bar R. V(14)(A), the Board of Professional Conduct filed with this court a certification of default, alleging that respondent, Dennis Lee Adams, failed to file an answer to a formal complaint pending before the board. Respondent did not file a response.”

Based upon the foregoing, the Court ruled against Respondent and ordered his suspension.

The Disposition reads:

“. . .it is ordered and decreed that an interim default suspension is immediately entered against Dennis Lee Adams, Attorney Registration No. 0068481, last known business address in Hamilton, Ohio, and that the suspension is effective as of the date of this entry.”
