On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, the Supreme Court of Indiana suspended attorney Allison Martinez-Wheeler from practicing law in the state due to her failure to pay costs.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Allison Martinez-Wheeler,” with case no. 24S-DI-240.

The suspension, effective ten days from the date of the order, was prompted by a petition filed by the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission on May 13, 2025. The commission noted that Martinez-Wheeler did not meet the deadline for paying costs tied to her annual attorney registration fee, as required under Indiana Admission and Discipline Rule 23(10.1)(d) or Rule 23(21).

The court’s order stated that Martinez-Wheeler did not respond to the commission’s petition. As a result, she is barred from practicing law in Indiana and must comply with all responsibilities of a suspended attorney.

Martinez-Wheeler may pursue reinstatement under Admission and Discipline Rule 2(h) if she fulfills the rule’s criteria and no other suspensions are currently active.

According to Avvo.com, Ms. Martinez-Wheeler is a divorce and separation attorney in Indianapolis, Indiana. She acquired her law license in Indiana in 2010.
