Kansas Supreme Court reinstates Haysville Lawyer after being suspended in 2013

On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the Supreme Court of Kansas ruled on the petition for reinstatement filed by Attorney Mark Allen Galloway.

The case is styled “In the Matter of Mark Allen Galloway” with case no. 108,648.

According to the filing, Galloway was suspended from the practice of law for two years from a decision rendered on January 11, 2013. On July 19, 2022, Respondent filed a petition for reinstatement to which the Court remanded that the matter is further investigated by the Disciplinary Administrator and a reinstatement hearing be conducted.

The Hearing Panel on January 11, 2023, recommended that the Court grant Galloway’s petition for reinstatement, subject to three years supervised probation under the terms and conditions of the proposed probation plan with the added requirement that Galloway contact KALAP for an evaluation for services and that he follow the recommendations to be imposed.

The Court then granted Galloway’s petition for reinstatement and to serve a term of three years of supervised probation according to the conditions set out in the final hearing report and requested Respondent to pay all required reinstatement and registration fees to the Office of Judicial Administration and complete all legal education requirements.
