On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Supreme Court of Louisiana publicly reprimanded attorney Wesley J. Galjour for conduct deemed prejudicial to the administration of justice. The disciplinary action stemmed from an investigation by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) into allegations that Galjour filed an incorrect affidavit in a child custody case.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Wesley J. Galjour,” with case no. 2025-B-0798.

Galjour, Louisiana Bar Roll number 32642, and the ODC jointly submitted a petition for consent discipline, acknowledging that his actions violated Rule 8.4(d) of the Rules of Professional Conduct. The petition noted that Galjour’s conduct caused no significant harm.

The Supreme Court accepted the petition and ordered a public reprimand, with the condition that Galjour complete the Louisiana State Bar Association’s next scheduled Ethics School program.

Additionally, the court mandated that Galjour cover all costs and expenses related to the disciplinary proceeding. Legal interest on these costs will accrue thirty days from the date the court’s judgment becomes final until fully paid.

According to Avvo.com, Mr. Galjour is a family attorney in Lafayette, Louisiana. He acquired his law license in Louisiana in 2009.
