On Friday, January 23, 2026, the Supreme Court of Maryland granted the petition for reinstatement of Attorney Brendan Michael O’Brien to the Bar of Maryland. The order follows the court’s consideration of O’Brien’s petition and the response from Bar Counsel.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Brendan Michael O’Brien,” with case no. 37.

The court has ordered that Brendan Michael O’Brien be reinstated as a member of the Bar. Furthermore, the Clerk of the Court is directed to provide notice of the order in accordance with Rule 19-761.

The order was issued by Chief Justice Matthew J. Fader.
