On Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board issued an order reinstating attorney Timothy P. Dugan’s license to practice law.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Timothy P. Dugan,” with case no. 23-80-GA.
Dugan had his license suspended on September 15, 2024, after a tri-county hearing panel found him in violation of the state’s rules for attorneys and ordered a 30-day suspension. In the order, the board noted that Dugan had attested in an affidavit filed on October 8, 2024, that he had fully complied with all terms of the previous suspension order.
As the Grievance Administrator, the authority that investigates attorney misconduct did not object to Dugan’s claim of complying with the suspension order, the Attorney Discipline Board reinstated his license to practice law in Michigan.
The Disposition states:
“IT IS ORDERED that respondent, Timothy P. Dugan, P 41135, is REINSTATED to the practice of law in Michigan, effective October 17, 2024.”
According to avvo.com, Mr. Dugan is a litigation attorney in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He attended the Michigan State University College of Law. He acquired his law license in Michigan in 1988.
