On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board reinstated Dennis J. Malecki’s license to practice law in the state. Malecki had faced a 60-day suspension of his law license, effective February 26, 2025, as ordered by Kent County Hearing Panel #3 on February 4, 2025.
The case is entitled “Attorney Grievance Commission v. Dennis J. Malecki,” with case no. 24-107-JC.
The suspension was issued by consent, following proceedings initiated by the Attorney Grievance Commission.
On April 28, 2025, Malecki submitted an affidavit as required by Michigan Court Rule 9.123(A), confirming his full compliance with the terms of the suspension order and pledging continued adherence.
The Grievance Administrator raised no objections to Malecki’s affidavit.
After review, the Attorney Discipline Board issued the reinstatement order, effective immediately. The order was signed by Wendy A. Neeley, the board’s Executive Director.
