On Monday, October 21, 2024, the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board ordered the reinstatement of Attorney Robert Louis Page’s law license.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Robert Louis Page,” with case no. 23-71-GA.

Page had his law license suspended on September 4, 2024, by the Tri-County Hearing Panel #6. The panel found that Page committed professional misconduct related to an incident where he transported documents purportedly impregnated with a prohibited substance into a Michigan correctional facility.

The panel determined that Page had violated Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct 8.4(b), 8.4(c), and Michigan Court Rules 8.4(a), 9.104(4), 9.104(1), 9.104(2) and 9.104(3). He was found to have engaged in conduct that breached professional standards, involved dishonesty, or broke criminal law in a manner that reflects poorly on his character.

Page’s actions were also ruled to have undermined the administration of justice and damaged the reputation of the legal profession. As a result, he received a 45-day suspension from practicing law in Michigan.

On October 16, 2024, Page filed an affidavit with the Attorney Discipline Board attesting that he had fully complied with the requirements of the panel’s suspension order. The Grievance Administrator did not object to Page’s affidavit. Therefore, the Board issued an order officially reinstating Page’s law license, effective October 19, 2024.
