Glenn Phillip Franklin, a lawyer licensed to practice in Michigan, had his law license automatically suspended on November 1, 2023, according to a notice issued on Monday, December 18, 2023.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Glenn Phillip Franklin,” with case no. 23-102-AI.

The notice states that Franklin was convicted by a guilty verdict on November 1st of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, a felony violation of the United States code.

According to Michigan court rules, a lawyer’s license is automatically suspended on the date of any felony conviction. The notice also indicates Franklin’s case will now be assigned to a disciplinary hearing panel for further proceedings. The interim suspension of Franklin’s law license will remain in effect until the panel issues an order under Michigan court rules.
