On Thursday, August 24, 2023,  the State of New York Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted the Motion for Reinstatement filed by Attorney Traci Anne Cipriano.

The case is titled ‘In the Matter of Traci Anne Cipriano’ with case no. PM-182-23.

Acting on Attorney Cipriano’s notice of motion and affidavit with exhibits sworn to on May 18, 2023, and the June 20, 2023,  correspondence from the Attorney Grievance Committee, the motion was carefully considered. After a conscientious study of the presented pieces of evidence, it was determined by clear and convincing evidence that Attorney Cipriano has satisfied the requirements of the Rules of the Appellate Division, complied with the rules of suspension and court orders, and has manifested the character and fitness required of a law practitioner.

Hinged on these findings, the Court finds it in order to grant the motion for reinstatement of Attorney Cipriano.

The order states:

“ORDERED that respondent’s motion for reinstatement is granted, and it is further

ORDERED that respondent is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law, effective immediately.”

It can be recalled that Attorney Cipriano was suspended on May 16, 2019, for repeatedly failing to fulfill her attorney registration obligations. The suspension was ordered to last until further order of the court.

Attorney Traci Anne Cipriano finished her law degree at the University of Connecticut School of Law and has been a member of the Bar of Connecticut and New York since 1988. More info about Attorney Cipriano’s bio can be found here.
