On Thursday, August 22, 2024, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department accepted the application of attorney Alina Belen Lindblom to resign from the New York State Bar for nondisciplinary reasons.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Alina Belen Lindblom,” with case no. PM-170-24.

In her affidavit filed on July 8, 2024, Lindblom sought the court’s permission to resign voluntarily pursuant to section 1240.22(a) of the Rules for Attorney Disciplinary Matters. The Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department did not oppose Lindblom’s application.

After reviewing Lindblom’s application and correspondence from the Deputy Chief Attorney, the court determined that Lindblom was eligible to resign for nondisciplinary reasons and granted her request. Consequently, Lindblom’s name has been stricken from the roll of attorneys in New York, and she has been commanded to refrain from the practice of law in any form in the state. Additionally, Lindblom must surrender any Attorney Secure Pass she may have within 30 days.

According to the filing, Ms. Lindblom acquired her law license in New York in 2018.
