On Thursday, September 11, 2025, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted Attorney Kevin R. Boyle’s request to resign from the New York Bar for nondisciplinary reasons.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Kevin R. Boyle,” with case no. PM-202-25.
The Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department (AGC) did not oppose Boyle’s application, according to the filing. Boyle’s affidavit, sworn to on July 14, 2025, was filed on July 16, 2025. The Deputy Chief Attorney for the AGC responded with correspondence on August 26, 2025. The court determined that Boyle met the requirements for a nondisciplinary resignation.
The court order stipulates that Boyle’s name will be removed from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law in the State of New York, effective immediately, and until further order of the court.
Boyle is now prohibited from practicing law in any capacity in New York State, whether as a principal, agent, clerk, or employee of another. He is forbidden from appearing as an attorney or counselor-at-law before any court, judge, justice, board, commission, or other public authority. Additionally, he cannot provide legal opinions or advice, or present himself as an attorney and counselor-at-law in New York.
The court has ordered Boyle to surrender any Attorney Secure Pass issued to him to the Office of Court Administration within 30 days of the decision date.
The Disposition states:
“It is ORDERED that Kevin R. Boyle’s application for permission to resign is granted and his nondisciplinary resignation is accepted.”
According to the filing, Mr. Boyle acquired his law license in New York in 2015.
