On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the State of New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division Third Judicial Department granted the reinstatement of attorney Harrold St. Juste from the practice of law in the state of New York.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Harrold St. Juste” with case no. 99-23.

The respondent has filed a motion requesting the court to reinstate him to the practice of law after being suspended by a previous court order dated May 2019 in the Matter of Attorneys in Violation of Judiciary Law § 468 – a, 172 AD3d 1706, 1754 [3d Dept 2019. This motion is made in accordance with the Rules for Attorney Disciplinary Matters and the Rules of Appellate Division, Third Department.

After carefully reviewing the respondent’s notice of motion, affidavit, and accompanying exhibits, which were sworn to on November 25, 2022, as well as the correspondence from the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department dated February 3, 2023, the court finds, based on clear and convincing evidence, that the following conditions have been satisfied: (1) The respondent has complied with the order of suspension and the Rules of the Court; (2) the respondent possesses the necessary character and fitness required for the practice of law, and; (3) the reinstatement of the respondent to the practice of law would serve the public interest.

Therefore, in consideration of the aforementioned facts, the court ordered that the respondent’s motion for reinstatement is granted.

The Disposition states:
