On Thursday, August 3, 2023, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department announced that it had granted the application of attorney Christopher Jacob Wildermuth to resign from the NY bar for non-disciplinary reasons.
The case is titled “In the Matter of Christopher Jacob Wildermuth,” case no. PM-160-23.
According to the court document, Wildermuth filed a motion seeking to resign from the New York State Bar on April 17, 2023, to which the Attorney Grievance Committee did not file any objection.
Following a thorough review of the application, the Court, having determined Wildermuth’s eligibility to resign for non-disciplinary reasons, granted and accepted his resignation.
Wildermuth’s name was struck from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law of the State of New York and was prohibited from practicing law in any capacity, appearing as an attorney in court, providing legal opinions or advice, or holding himself out as an attorney.
Mr. Wildermuth attended Boston College Law School. He practices in Boston, Massachusetts and he had been licensed to practice in New York in 2021, license no. 5899430.
