On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department granted the reinstatement of attorney Hadeel Najati Masseoud.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Hadeel Najati Masseoud,” with case no. 2025-04296.

Masseoud faced suspension due to noncompliance with Judiciary Law §468-a. An order to suspend her from practicing law was issued on November 20, 2013, which took effect immediately and remained in place until further notice from the Court.

Following her suspension, Masseoud took steps to comply with the necessary legal requirements outlined in the Judiciary Law. On July 10, 2025, she fulfilled these obligations, which paved the way for her motion to be reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law in New York.

The Court, having reviewed the motion and the submitted documentation, determined that Masseoud had met the conditions for reinstatement. Consequently, the court issued an order allowing her to return to practice law, effective immediately.

According to Avvo.com, Ms. Masseoud is a family attorney in Marietta, Georgia. She acquired her law license in New York in 2004.
