On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania suspended attorney Lanhi Saldana after failing to answer in a notice and order directing her to provide reasons why a reciprocal discipline should not be imposed against her for her disbarment case in the State of New Jersey.
The case is entitled “In the matter of Lanhi Saldana” with case no. 31 DB 2023.
In an order dated December 29, 2022, it was stated that the respondent tendered her consent to disbarment as an attorney at law in the State of New Jersey. As an effect, the respondent’s name was stricken from the roll of attorneys, and she was permanently restrained and enjoined from practicing law in the said state.
Following this discipline, the respondent failed to respond to a notice and order directing her to provide reasons against the imposition of reciprocal discipline in the state of Pennsylvania. In lieu of this, the Supreme Court decided to suspend the same from the practice of law.
The Disposition states:
“AND NOW, this 3rd day of May 2023, having failed to respond to a Notice and Order directing her to provide reasons against the imposition of reciprocal discipline, Lanhi Saldana, a/k/a Lanhi H. Saldana, is disbarred from the practice of law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She shall comply with the provisions of Pa.R.D.E. 217.”
Ms. Saldana practices in Newtown, Pennsylvania. She is licensed in Pennsylvania. Her info can be found on Linkedin.
