On Friday, April 21, 2023, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania ordered the temporary suspension of attorney Patrick Francis Lomax following his criminal conviction for child pornography charges.
The case is titled ‘In the Matter of Patrick Francis Lomax,’ Case No. 40 DB 2023.
Lomax was arrested and charged with 48 counts of production and possession of child pornography on February 2020. The charges include photographing, videotaping, depicting sexual acts of a child under 18, producing or directing obscene performances by a minor, and invasion of privacy. Thereafter, Lomax pleaded guilty on all counts on January 2023.
According to the filing, Lomax did not object to being placed on temporary suspension.
Based on the foregoing facts, the Court ordered Lomax’s temporary suspension.
Lomax’s right to file a petition for the dissolution or modification of the Order and to request a swift resolution of any charges that led to his temporary suspension are expressly protected.
