On Thursday, April 27, 2023, the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division Third Judicial Department ruled on the petition for reinstatement filed by Philadelphia attorney Tyler Brody.

The case is styled ‘In the Matter of Tyler Brody,’ case #PM-90-23.

According to the Decision and Order on Motion, Brody was suspended from practice by an October 2021 order of the Court for violation of the Judiciary Law §468-a, arising from his failure to comply with attorney registration.

Brody filed a notice of motion and affirmation with exhibits in support of his application for reinstatement, to which the Attorney Grievance Committee made no objection.

Accordingly, the Court, having found that Brody has complied with the order of suspension and the rules of court; that she has the requisite character and fitness to practice law, and that Brody’s reinstatement to the practice of law would be in the public interest, ruled in favor of Brody.

The order reads:

“ORDERED that respondent’s motion for reinstatement is granted; and it is further

ORDERED that respondent is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law in the State of New York. effective immediately.”

Mr. Tyler Brody practices in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Emory University. He has been admitted to the New York Bar since 2007, and in Pennsylvania in 2004. His info can be found on Avvo.com.
