On Friday, February 24, 2023, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals suspended on an interim basis attorney Jay Arthur Rosenberg.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Jay Arthur Rosenberg” with case no. 2022-D133.
On July 15, 2022, it was reported that the circuit court of Fairfax County in Virginia revoked the license of the respondent to practice law in the state. This is consistent with the respondent’s affidavit consenting to the said revocation.
According to the circuit court, by tendering his consent to revocation at a time when a disciplinary complaint, investigation, or proceeding is pending, Rosenberg acknowledges that the material facts upon which the disciplinary complaint, investigation, or proceeding are predicated are true.
The said revocation was effective on July 6, 2022. This has been issued by a three-judge panel of the circuit court of Fairfax County.
In relation to the revocation of the privilege of the respondent to practice his profession in Virginia, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals issued an order suspending attorney Rosenberg on an interim basis based upon his discipline imposed by the circuit court of Fairfax County.
Mr. Rosenber attended the University of Michigan Law School. Prior to the revocation of his license, he practices in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
