On Thursday, February 9, 2023, the Supreme Court of the State of Florida approved the Conditional Guilty Plea ad Consent Judgment for the discipline of West Palm Beach attorney Sabine Millien-Felix, thereby suspending the latter for 90 days from the practice of law.
The case is styled “The Florida Bar vs. Sabine Millien-Felix” with case no. SC-23-141.
On January 30, 2023, the Florida Bar filed a petition seeking the Court’s approval of the Respondent’s conditional guilty plea for a consent judgment in a disciplinary matter.
According to the petition, the Respondent tendered the conditional guilty plea prior to the filing of a formal complaint before the Supreme Court of Florida. The Florida Bar has approved the Respondent’s petition.
The Court, having considered Respondent’s petition, deemed it appropriate to enter an order accepting Respondent’s conditional guilty plea and consent judgment, thereby, sanctioning respondent with a 90-day suspension from the practice of law, effective 30 days from the date of the order.
Respondent was further ordered to make monthly restitution payments of $500 to Mainlands Section Three Homeowners’ Association until the agreed amount is paid, under the terms and conditions set forth in the consent judgment. Costs amounting to $1,560 were awarded to The Florida Bar.
