On Friday, March 21, 2025, the Supreme Court of New Hampshire suspended Attorney Lisa Anne Urovitch from practicing law following her conviction for voter fraud.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Lisa Anne Urovitch,” with case no. LD-2025-0002.
The Attorney Discipline Office (ADO) submitted a certified record from the Merrimack County Superior Court, which confirmed that Urovitch had pleaded guilty to a class A misdemeanor. The charge stemmed from her knowingly providing false information regarding her voter qualifications to an election officer when obtaining or casting an official ballot.
The court deemed her actions a “serious crime” under Supreme Court Rule 37(9)(b), leading to the decision for her immediate suspension to protect the public and uphold the integrity of the legal profession. The court’s order specifies that Urovitch is to remain suspended until further notice.
Additionally, the court mandated that copies of the suspension order and the ADO’s filing be sent to Urovitch via first-class and certified mail to her registered address with the New Hampshire Bar Association. Urovitch must provide a valid reason to the court as to why she should not face disbarment due to her conviction.
The Disposition states:
“In accordance with Rule 37(9)(a) and (c), the respondent, Lisa Anne Urovitch, is immediately suspended from the practice of law in New Hampshire until further order of this court.”
