On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals ordered the suspension of Tampa attorney William Kalish in consideration of the certified order from Florida, which revoked Kalish’s license from the practice of law in the state.

The case is styled “In the Matter of William Kalish,” with case #2022-D176.

According to Florida court documentsKalish’s license to practice law was revoked by the Supreme Court of Florida on March 10, 2023, over misappropriation of funds. Kalish’s revocation was the court’s response to the amended petition for disciplinary revocation filed by Kalish which was supported by the Florida Bar.

In light of the foregoing, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals ruled to suspend Kalish on an interim basis based upon discipline imposed in Florida.
