On Friday, June 13, 2025, the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility announced the suspension of attorney Jared Michael Streich from practicing law for six years, with five years as an active suspension.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Jared Michael Streich.”

The decision, effective immediately, was issued by the Supreme Court of Tennessee under Rule 9, Section 12.2. Streich is also required to pay restitution to two former clients. If reinstated, he must serve the remaining year on probation with a practice monitor.

According to the filing, the Board filed a disciplinary petition against Streich, citing two complaints. A Hearing Panel determined that Streich failed to adequately communicate with clients about their case statuses, neglected to act diligently in advancing their legal matters, and did not meet competency standards. Additionally, he failed to fulfill obligations as a suspended attorney, did not return client property, charged excessive fees, and provided false information to the Board.

The panel found Streich in violation of multiple Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct, including rules on competence, diligence, communication, fees, safekeeping client property, terminating representation, expediting litigation, fairness to opposing parties, and professional misconduct.

Streich must adhere to Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 9, Sections 28 and 30.4, which outline the responsibilities of suspended attorneys and the reinstatement process.

According to Avvo.com, Mr. Streich is a criminal defense attorney in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He attended the Nashville School of Law, graduating in 2015. He acquired his law license in the same year.
