On Monday, February 6, 2023, the Supreme Court of Tennessee ruled on the disciplinary charges against Colorado Attorney Ryan Bodiford Feeney.

The case titled In Re: Ryan Bodifor Feeney was brought by the Board of Professional Responsibility, case no. M2023-00157-SC-BAR-BP.

According to the Board of Professional Responsibility’s released information,

“A Petition for Discipline containing one complaint was filed, alleging Mr. Feeney failed to communicate reasonably with his clients regarding prior suspensions, failed to withdraw from representation during his prior suspensions, and knowingly practiced law on multiple occasions during his prior suspensions.”

Feeney thru a Conditional Guilty Plea consented to the imposition of a 6-month suspension and acknowledged his violations of the Tennessee Rules of Professional Conduct governing communication with clients, termination of representation, and unauthorized practice of law.

Based on the foregoing facts, the Court finds it appropriate to enter an Order of Enforcement suspending Feeney from the practice of law for six months, with 30 days served as an active suspension and the remaining time served on probation with conditions as set forth in the Conditional Guilty Plea.

Moreover, Feeney was required to pay expenses and costs to the Board of Professional Responsibility.

Mr. Ryan Bodiford Feeney attended the University of Memphis – Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He has been licensed in Tennessee,  license no. 020073. He practices in Silt, Colorado.
