On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, the Supreme Court of Tennessee ordered the transfer to disability inactive status of the law license of  Nashville attorney Robert Andrew Free.

The case is styled In Re: Robert Andrew Free and was brought by the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.

The Order states:

“Upon due consideration of documentation provided by Mr. Free and his healthcare provider, the Court concludes Robert Andrew Free is currently incapacitated from continuing the practice of law and unable to respond to or defend against any pending disciplinary matter.”

With the foregoing facts, the Court ruled in favor of Mr. Free.

The disposition reads:

“IT IS, THEREFORE, CONSIDERED, ORDERED, ADJUDGED, AND DECREED BY THE COURT THAT:

The law license of Robert Andrew Free shall be transferred to disability inactive status for an indefinite period of time and until further order of the Supreme Court. In addition, any pending disciplinary matter shall be stayed until further order of this Court.”

Mr. Robert Andrew Fee has been licensed in Tennessee, license no. 030513.
