On Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania formally disbarred Michael Joseph Cammarano Jr from practicing law in the Commonwealth.

The case is entitled “Office of Disciplinary Counsel v. Michael Joseph Cammarano, Jr.,” with case no. 147 DB 2021.

According to court records, Cammarano had been placed on temporary suspension by the Supreme Court on December 17, 2021, via an order from the Disciplinary Board. This suspension was to remain in effect until further action by the Court.

Over two years later, on April 30, 2024, the Supreme Court issued a subsequent order making absolute a rule Cammarano was given to show cause as to why he should not be disbarred. Cammarano failed to provide a response to the Court. As a result, the order disbarred Cammarano from practicing law in Pennsylvania.

The Disposition states:

“AND NOW, this 30th day of April 2024, having failed to respond to a rule to show cause why Respondent should not be disbarred, the Rule is made absolute, and Michael Joseph Cammarano, Jr., is disbarred from the Bar of this Commonwealth.”

According to avvo.com, Mr. Cammarano Jr. was a criminal defense attorney in Shillinton, Pennsylvania. He attended the Widener University School of Law. He acquired his law license in Pennsylvania in 2010.
