On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, First Judicial Department reinstated attorney Michael C. Ledley to the practice of law.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Michael C. Ledley,” with case no. 2024-02007.

Ledley had been suspended from practicing law on November 17, 2022, for failure to comply with registration requirements under Judiciary Law Section 468-a. He had unsuccessfully sought reinstatement in June 2024 but was allowed to renew his motion.

This time, the Attorney Grievance Committee did not oppose the reinstatement saying Ledley had complied with Judiciary Law in November 2022 and March 2024.

Considering the papers submitted and having deliberated on the matter, the New York Court granted Ledley’s request and reinstated his license to practice law in New York effective September 12, 2024.

According to martindale.com, Mr. Ledley attended the Harvard Law School, graduating in 2000. He acquired his law license in New York in 2001.
