On Monday, August 11, 2025, a Panel of the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board issued a notice announcing that attorney David J. Gilbert has been placed on inactive status. The decision follows a petition filed by the Grievance Administrator, citing that Gilbert is incapacitated and unable to continue practicing law due to a mental or physical condition.
