On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Brian N. Larson filed a Petition for Reinstatement to the Minnesota State Bar.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Brian N. Larson.”
Larson was originally admitted to the Minnesota bar in November 2000 and held a license until he resigned in good standing in June 2018. Since then, he has maintained active membership in good standing with the state bars of Texas, while inactive in Georgia.
In his petition, Larson outlined his legal career since resigning from the Minnesota Bar. He shared that he has resided in Dallas, Texas since August 2017 and has worked as an associate professor of law at Texas A&M University School of Law since September 2017.
Larson also noted that he has satisfied all continuing legal education requirements for the bars he has been a member of. Now, Larson wishes to be reinstated as a member of the Minnesota State Bar, as he anticipates returning to Minnesota sometime within the next year.
Larson argued that as he has maintained good standing with other state bars to which he belongs and left Minnesota’s bar voluntarily, not facing any disciplinary issues, he should be reinstated.
