On Thursday, October 30, 2025, the Supreme Court of Indiana suspended attorney Grant E. Helms from practicing law, effective immediately. The suspension stems from a “Notice of Finding of Guilt” filed by the  Disciplinary Commission.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Grant E. Helms,” with case no. 25S-DI-206.

The court document indicates Helms was found guilty of Possession of Methamphetamine, classified as a Level 6 felony under Indiana law. Helms did not file a response to the notice.

The order, signed by Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush, states that Helms is required to fulfill the duties of a suspended attorney as outlined in Admission and Discipline Rule 23(26).

The suspension will remain in effect until further order from the court or the final resolution of any resulting disciplinary actions, provided no other suspension is in effect. All Justices concurred with the order.

According to Avvo.com, Mr. Helms acquired his law license in Indiana in 2011.
