On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the Supreme Court of Missouri reinstated attorney Jay Kimmons following a suspension related to tax issues and noncompliance with the court’s regulations.

Kimmons had faced suspension due to failure to pay taxes and not adhering to Rule 15 of the Missouri Bar. The court concluded that he had effectively addressed the outstanding issues and complied with the necessary regulations to restore his professional standing.
In a formal order, Chief Justice W. Brent Powell reinstated Kimmons as a member of The Missouri Bar, affirming his good standing within the legal community.
