On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Florida Supreme Court granted The Florida Bar’s Petition for Contempt and Order to Show Cause against attorney Paige Sundance Mincieli, resulting in her suspension from practicing law in the state.
The court’s decision, documented under case number SC2025-1188, comes after Mincieli failed to respond to the court’s Order to Show Cause, which itself was prompted by her lack of response to official Bar inquiries.
The Supreme Court’s order mandates that Mincieli is suspended from practicing law, with the suspension taking effect 30 days from the date of the order. This grace period is intended to allow Mincieli time to properly close her practice and safeguard the interests of her existing clientele. However, the order also stipulates that if Mincieli informs the court in writing that she is ceasing her practice immediately and does not require the 30-day period to protect client interests, the suspension will take effect immediately.
The suspension will remain in effect until Mincieli provides full written responses to the official Bar inquiries and until the court issues a further order lifting the suspension. The court has also barred Mincieli from accepting any new clients from the date the order was filed until she is officially reinstated.
Furthermore, Mincieli is required to fully comply with Rule 3-5.1(h) and, if applicable, Rule 3-6.1 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, which outline the responsibilities of suspended or former attorneys.
In addition to the suspension, the Supreme Court entered a judgment against Paige Sundance Mincieli for $1,250.00. This amount is designated for the recovery of costs incurred by The Florida Bar. The court has authorized the issuance of a writ of execution to collect this sum.
The order, however, is not final until the time expires for filing a motion for rehearing. If such a motion is filed, the order will remain non-final until the motion is determined. It is explicitly stated that filing a motion for rehearing will not alter the effective date of the suspension.
According to Avvo, Ms. Mincieli is a lawyer in Fort Myers, Florida. She acquired her law license in Florida in 2019.
