On Friday, December 13, 2024, the Supreme Court of Indiana issued an order suspending Attorney Thomas M. Green from practicing law in the state due to his noncooperation with the Disciplinary Commission’s investigation. The Court had previously ordered Green to show cause for his lack of cooperation, but he failed to respond.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Thomas M. Green,” with case no. 24S-DI-326 and 24S-DI-327.
The suspension is effective immediately and will remain in place until the Executive Director of the Disciplinary Commission certifies that Green has complied with the investigation or until further notice from the Court. Green is already serving a suspension related to noncompliance with continuing legal education requirements and unpaid dues.
As part of this ruling, Green has also been ordered to reimburse the Disciplinary Commission $547.34 for the costs incurred in prosecuting his case. However, the Court did not mandate a separate reimbursement for costs related to the second grievance against him.
According to avvo.com, Mr. Green is a divorce and separation attorney in Carmel, Indiana. He attended the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. He acquired his law license in Indiana in 2005.
